Loving Vacation!

We have been having the best trip to Utah so far! On Saturday we had a typical whirlwind day with lots of visiting while trying to make it through our restaurant lists. Our first stop was Cafe Rio. Andrew was sound asleep in the car, so I chilled with him while Kev got our food. We then brought it out to the car and balanced the tins on our laps and ate way too much while the little guy snoozed! Andrew loved his first Cafe Rio quesadilla when he woke up.

After that we headed to Elise & Dan's house for the grand tour of their new place. It was beautiful and we had fun visiting while Andrew explored their family room and tried to eat the baby proofing foam around their fireplace.

Later in the evening we met up with the Johnsons at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I love fries, so it was the perfect place for dinner. Even I couldn't eat them all... Then we headed to the Johnson's house to check our their newly remodeled kitchen & bathroom, and siding on their house. Andrew had fun driving us there.

The Johnsons were already decked out for Christmas and excited to show us their newly purchased Christmas tree.

After some hanging out, Kev went out to see the new James Bond movie with his siblings and I took the little man back to Provo to go to bed! Once he was tucked away, my dad and I went to see the Four Christmases movie and my mom "watched" Andrew. Definitely not one that I would recommend seeing, but there were a few funny parts. It was nice to go out to a movie anyway, since it had been awhile.

On Sunday we enjoyed hanging out with the youth from my parent's ward after the Breakfast at the Bishop's activity. We ate a lot of leftover muffins and breakfast burritos!! Then Kevin and I headed up to the blessing of Baylee Regan Guth. It was fun to celebrate with the Guths and catch up a bit. Later in the afternoon, before Kev's flight home, we enjoyed spending time with my parents and Jessie and goofing around.

Jessie, Andrew & Kevin rolled the ball back and forth and Andrew thought it was hysterical.

For dinner we had breakfast foods and the little guy thought it was very cool to make huge messes with his pancake and get it all in his hair. He was so excited about the pancakes that he was sqealing and talking up a storm... while crushing the food in his fists.

He is such a happy kid these days, it's hard to want to put him to bed. Fortunately, he wakes up so often during the night that I don't have much of an opportunity to miss him :) We just discovered two more teeth are coming in though (so pretty soon he'll have 6!), so at least there is a reason for the craziness. The kid would also rather just stand up in his pack n play all night too... so it's a little tougher for him to sleep that way. :) I am definitely grateful for two awesome grandmas that hung out with the little guy today so that I could get some sleep!! Having family around is awesome. So glad I still have two more days of vacation!
