Grandma & Grandpa w/ Andrew
Posing before we started moving
Hanging out with Maddie. Andrew wasn't too keen on sharing the spotlight. :)
Checking out the moving scenery with Aunt Jess
The elves & chef brought us cookies and lukewarm hot cocoa. Little man ate his cookie before we could try and pace him at all. He had chocolate everywhere.
Mrs. Claus stopped by for a visit- she was kind of a bit creepy... and this picture makes her look worse, but Andrew was really interested in her white hair.
We sang some songs
We picked up Santa at the North Pole and then sang "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" until he miraculously arrived in our car. Andrew kept yelling "Hanta Come!... Hanta Come!"
Andrew couldn't look at the camera... he was too amazed by Santa... and especially the bell that he gave him. He got so shy when Santa arrived too and just stared. It was cute.
After Santa left and the fun died down, little man was done with the train. Fortunately he finally calmed down and stopped trying to run down the aisles and just chilled while we sang more carols.
mid-tantrum, starting to calm down
After we got off the train we hung out with the conductor for a few minutes (Andrew's favorite person). He let the little man try on his hat. Of course, Andrew turned into "Mr. Shy Man" again, but then warmed up when we were leaving and said goodbye to the conductor.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for such a fun evening! We loved it!
(p.s.-don't mind the dreamy look of the pictures... I realized afterwards that the lens was smudged... makes it look more festive, don't you think? :))

We did that over Thanksgiving--I thought it was so cute! Max was running up and down the aisles by the end too. I think if it had been a little bit shorter, it would have been perfect for them.
Mrs. Claus = Mr. Claus.
Just sayin.
