Summer Fun

Today Andrew finally seemed to forgive me for leaving him last week and acted a little more normal (ie. not crying/screaming every time I left the room, picked up a bag, changed my clothes, etc.). We had a lot of fun together.

The day started by introducing the little man to play-doh for the first time. He loved it and only tried to eat it once. Fortunately, he is a smart boy and tasting it once was enough for him to realize that play-doh is not yummy.

He loved it when I rolled the play-doh into a ball. and kept saying "ball, ball, ball."Btw, please forgive some of these white trash pictures of Andrew hanging out in his diaper. He likes to pull off his pants these days.

The little guy loves to "say cheese" and make his cheesiest grin for all of my pictures lately.

Later in the day we headed over to Google for a haircut. Andrew is in desperate need of a trim. Unfortunately, he wouldn't cooperate with the stylist, so I got a cheap haircut instead. I enjoyed a fabulous 25 minutes of relaxation while Kevin & Andrew had a little too much fun running around... who knew that Google was as fun as Chuck E Cheese? On one of the floors they have ball pit.

Because Andrew is so short, he kept sinking further and further into the balls.

After our trip to Google, we ran errands and then we came home and waited for Kevin.

Sprinkler-time is Andrew's favorite part of the day.

Yay! Dad is home!

After Kev got home, we took a trip to Baskin-Robbins to celebrate Kevins' dad's birthday. Allen loved ice cream, so we enjoyed some and thought of him!

Andrew was more excited about his chair and the water fountain than the ice cream.

We let Andrew walk/run the whole way home to try and tire him out for bed.

I love watching his little legs move.

We had to videotape it. He chased me most of the way.

Such a fabulous way to end the day! I have a feeling there are many more trips to Baskin -Robbins in our future now that it is so close by.
