Google Spring Festival

This week we headed down to Google for their first ever Spring Festival!

We were glad that we arrived right on time because this bounce house was almost empty

which made this little dude super happy.

We did an egg hunt with real hard-boiled eggs (which Andrew liked to throw on the stone steps and smash). We quickly learned to steal the eggs he picked up and toss them back on the grass before they were mutilated.

He never noticed and not surprisingly his basket was mostly empty when we were done. He didn't seem to care.

The refreshments included carrots and dip (for all the rabbits- little kids), juice boxes, and lots of peeps. I have never seen that many in one place. This was just one of the peeps locations. I don't like peeps, so I just admired the colors.

They also had a cookie decorating station.

The little guy loved the sprinkles and using the knife.

All he did was take a lick of the frosting and that was all he wanted to eat of the cookies.

They also had a cute petting zoo with bunnies, baby goats, baby ducks, etc. We weren't nice enough parents to wait in the long line to pet the bunnies... but we spent a lot of time at the fence watching them.

My favorite part was the Easter candy station. I waited in the long line for this one while Kev and Andrew headed back to the bounce houses.

Mmmm!

our big bag of treats :)

Our final line of the day involved waiting for the ball pit bounce house. Waiting was like agony for the little man.

Once he was in, there was no getting him out. Because there was such a long line, kids could only stay in for a certain amount of time. The ball house guy had to climb into the ball pit and pull Andrew out.

After all that jumping we stopped for a drink

hunted for a few more eggs

and met the Easter bunny.

Although it was a blustery day, we still had a great time!
