Happy Easter!

This year instead of bringing his mom and dad treats...

...our little Easter bunny got a nice big basket full of his own prizes.
Andrew mostly just loved his Elmo Easter basket and lots of fun Easter books and toys from his Grandma Julie.

He also really really liked his dad's Easter basket.

Andrew spent most of the day trying to steal other people's candy. See how happy it made him :)

Still looking for more treats

The little guy was on the move all afternoon trying to escape Kevin & I
and find a way to quickly eat the treats that he found

This afternoon we headed off to a friend's house for a delicious Easter potluck. The little kids had a fun Easter egg hunt at a park nearby. Andrew was more intrigued by the other things he found.

Eventually he got an egg or two with a little help from mom and dad.

The eggs that were in the hardest places to reach were the only ones that kept his attention.


He spent some quality time trying to steal candy from his friends.

He was almost quick and cute enough to get away with it

We loved every minute we were able to spend with our friends on such a special holiday. It is so nice to have a surrogate family here in California to celebrate with!

Although our day was full of a lot of fun and commercial Easter excitement, it was also wonderful to go to church and have the opportunity to remember the life of Christ and recognize how grateful we should be for his atonement. This has been one of my favorite Easter messages this week. Enjoy!
