The blessing was beautiful and so was Madeline! I loved her darling dress! Andrew and I mostly just listened to the baby blessing through the speakers because he was acting too crazy to even be able to stay in the chapel. At one point he ran down the aisle towards the front of the chapel right when the Bishop started talking... and I had to run after him. Talk about embarrassing! Then I let him run around outside to get his energy out and he ended up finding a wasp nest... and got stung four times! Poor little boy! Fortunately he is very tough and not allergic to wasps... so I think he recovered quicker than I did.
After the blessing, Elise and Dan invited all of us over for a big BBQ. The food was delicious and it was nice to spend some time with the Caffee family who flew in from Maryland and several of Elise and Dan's friends who came from L.A.

We got a quick family photo as well. It was nice and hot and sunny!
Jessie and Cat both helped keep Andrew happy.
Aunt Jessie was a hit at the BBQ and all the kids wanted to play with her... she is so fun!
Andrew loved his special time with her on our drive home. She does great voices and sounds when she reads.
We were so glad to go and spend such a wonderful weekend with our family and celebrate this special day with Madeline!
