A Sprinkle

One of my favorite friends just had a new baby. Since it is her third little one, we decided to throw her a "sprinkle" instead of a shower. I had way too much fun planning this party.

My fabulous cousin Jenny designed the invites and did an awesome job. They look even cuter in person... especially since this one has sections cut out (like my address and phone number :))... and I dropped some confetti on top so you can't even read the baby's name! Isn't Jenny so talented?? You should've seen what I created first before she swooped in and saved the day. I am SO grateful!

A party isn't a party without lots of desserts. One sprinkle co-host got this delicious red velvet bundt cake from Nothing but Bundt. It was amazing.

I was busy chatting and only managed to snap one photo of guests and the guest of honor once the party started... it was that fun!

In addition to cake, we had yummy chocolate chip bread pudding and a variety of heavy duty chocolatey cupcakes from Kara's Cupcakes (a store finally just opened in Walnut Creek and I am in heaven!).

My favorite decor item was the garlands created by Cara's sister, Laura. I helped put together the white pom poms... and let's just say that is not my favorite activity. Fortunately Caitlin's babysitter loved helping me when she was over and Cate was napping.

Another co-host put together these darling sprinkle favors.

It was seriously such a fun night. I always love parties when the planning is totally fun... and then the party is even better! I am so glad my friends keep having little ones so that we can celebrate!

Who is next? ;)

Love it! The garland might be my favorite thing, but all the details are so cute and I can personally attest to the deliciousness of the cupcakes. I totally want to copy this theme next time I throw a shower.

Ok, not really. But I am willing to go to great lengths to get a sprinkle like that. The invites are adorable!

Jenny. I totally agree. The garlands are ADORABLE. When I get my sewing machine I am totally making several sets (in different colors) and using them at more events. She did such an awesome job!

Your invites really were amazing though. Seriously beautiful. I love just looking at them. They make me so happy because they turned out exactly how I was envisioning them... Thanks you!!

Kaari- next kid I can help with your sprinkle :)

My neighbors brought us some cakes from Nothing But Bundt. I totally thought of you and your to die for chocolate Bundt cake.
