This picture is symbolic of the little man's desire to be independent. Of the three rickety old slides at the park, he picked the highest one and started climbing. He's been wanting to go on it for a few months. This week he couldn't be dissuaded.
Hope this trend continues through his life... despite causing me a little stress because the slide looks like it is held up by toothpicks.
Aim high little man!
(And yes, I caved and bought the kid an Elmo sweatshirt. It may or may not be part of the Halloween costume I am putting together for him.)
