On Monday Andrew went to his first Halloween party of the season... he had a blast!
First he got to frost and eat sugar cookies
He mostly just ate them
Then he frosted one for me
The spread of food was delicious and so beautiful!
Even the water bottles were decked out
Andrew ignored most of the games and crafts and just wanted to play with the balloons.
He took a break to color a pumpkin though
Next we played games... little man loved them.
He got so excited when we played "pass the pumpkin"... especially when he won.
He "powed" the plastic pumpkin with his fist... he didn't quite follow the rules of that game, but had fun anyway
The kids fished for candy. Andrew loved swinging the stick around and trying to "pow" people and anything close by. Fortunately he didn't take out any of his friends.
We also had a costume parade and did the Monster Mash... little man hobbled around with his splint and did some good dance moves
He got tired pretty quickly... Monster Mashing + chasing balloons can be exhausting
The kids ended the party by watching a Halloween movie and eating caramel popcorn.
The party was a toddler's dream come true... Andrew just kept saying "candy, candy." I think Halloween is now his favorite holiday.
Thanks A&A for an awesome party!

This post was so fun to see! I hardly took any pictures myself. I was impressed the whole party with how much Andrew was able to do! He doesn't know he's younger than all those other kids! And you are right, his face when he "won" that pumpkin pass game was priceless. He was so surprised and delighted! He is such a doll. I'm really going to miss you guys.
