We started off the adventure by going to my favorite ice cream place- Emack & Bolios. The hot fudge is insanely delicious!
Then we went with a very large tour group around the ball park. It was fun to learn a little bit of history about the Red Sox.
Andrew loved hanging out with his Uncle Scott and Aunt Cat.
Andrew wasn't patient enough to listen to most of the tour... so instead he and I took a tour of the trash cans at Fenway. He thought they were very cool and wanted to hit each one.
He did enjoy his opportunity to sit in the Press Box though. He wore an ESPN reporter sticker.
He also had to make some very important calls while watching the field.
Andrew and I spent the second half of the tour climbing stairs and running down ramps. Unfortunately Andrew's legs run at a speed that is sometimes too fast for his upper body and he trips. He did a nice face plant on the concrete. He also got us in trouble because he went down a ramp that took us too close to Dave Matthews Band (who was setting up for a concert that night).
After the tour we wandered around on the street outside the park and let Andrew run some of his energy out.
Which got him nice and tuckered out for our subway ride home.
After a super long nap, we headed to Harvard Square for a yummy dinner at Border Cafe. Andrew sat next to Scott and couldn'tve been happier.
He liked sucking on freezing cold pieces of ice. I loved this facial expression. Brain freeze!
Such a cute couple!
Cat kept Andrew entertained the whole way back to the car. They were so darling together!
We'll have to head back to Fenway again sometime soon so that we can watch them play (and lose) to the Yankees!
