Notice the little dude (in bright yellow) messing with the coach's stuff... eventually the coach put the goal away because it was just too distracting when they were doing other activities.
They started off by playing a little animals kicking game. They kicked the soccer balls to the different colored poles, said the names of the animals that were that color, and made the animal sounds.
They also played keep away... Andrew was good at stealing the ball from Kevin
Action shot
I loved little dude's facial expressions as he kicked the ball
They had to kick the ball back and forth ten times. Andrew did an awesome job counting to ten while kicking with Kev.
I was surprised with what a good listener Andrew was. They had to put their tummies on the ball, ear on the ball, and different feet on the ball... and he listened to the coach and did exactly what he was supposed to. Not what I was expecting :)
Water break! It was so hot that Andrew looked like a lobster!
The last activity was a tunnel kicking game. They crawled through the tunnel and then kicked the ball into the goal.
Little man was so excited to yell "GOAL!" and then give Coach Chris a high-five.
Practicing to be a keeper (he still isn't very excited about the no hands on the ball rule)
After class was over we played around for a little while longer and shot more goals... until we were dying from the heat!
Next it was home for ice cream and popsicles! Little man loved yelling, "Thank you Coach Chris!" and "See you next week Coach Chris!" as we walked back to our car.

Cutest thing ever!!
Totally unrelated...before we left SF, George was asking about Andrew and wanted to play with him. It was so sweet. We'll have to come see you when we get back!
That looks like a really cute soccer program. Hot, but, really cute!
He looks so happy. And he looks really good at soccer. Of course, it should come as no surprise that any child of K & K would be a great athlete. :)
