It's a...

We had our ultrasound this morning and from what we could tell, our little GIRL is healthy and fabulous!

She was very cooperative and "sonogenic" (our technician's word for photogenic)... because she just spent her time posing for us and letting the technician get all the important photos she needed quite easily. Andrew wasn't quite as cooperative but both little ones love to KICK! We watched our little girl kicking me for awhile... which will be super fun in a few months (not!). She also waved at Andrew :)

I loved looking at her little hands and feet!

Whenever we have asked Andrew if he was going to have a baby sister or baby brother he has always consistently said, "baby sister" (or big brother... but we told him that wasn't really possible). He was such a super big cousin to Maddie a few weeks ago, so I know he is going to be an awesome big brother. He loved her hair bows and clips and wanted to wear them himself!

Having a little girl is going to be a big change in this house full of bugs, balls, and trains. We are going to need lots of help learning how to do hair and put together cute outfits... but we are excited!

(PS- I have to thank Kevin for the 3 hours it took him to convert these photo files so that we could use them on our Macs and upload them... since the doctor gave us a CD that only uses a very dated version of Microsoft XP... and we are a Mac-only household)

Here are some more pictures for the grandparents :)

Congrats!!! I'm excited for my little lady to teach your little lady about the joys of hair braiding, dress selection, and instilling a great love of boy bands from Beantown. ;)

Super excited for you!

Oh congratulations! Yes, you will need to infuse a lot of pink into your home! And brush up on songs. Livvy has me sing about 50 songs to her each day- always followed by-"new song- sing it."

Those pictures are so cool--love the waving one. Props to Kevin for getting them up there. Now, time for you to get shopping!

Fantastic news!! A boy would have been wonderful as well, but it will be so neat to experience one of each. Enjoy!!

Congratulations! When my brother and his wife found out their second was a boy after having a girl first, they were not excited. They didn't know what to do. Of course, eventually they got excited and now they love having one of each. I'm glad you're excited about it right away!
