Big Red Fire Truck!

These are the four words Andrew yelled at the Fire Chief yesterday when we arrived at the Fire Station for a birthday party.

The fire station tour isn't actually that exciting for kids under 4 or 5, but climbing on and in the truck is awesome!

Checking out the inside.

Listening to the Chief. Mostly Andrew played with the hoses that hung from the ceiling because he's not old enough to listen for very long.

On the tour of the station the little man's favorite room was the TV watching room. He relaxed quickly in a big leather chair and found the remote. He also loved the workout room and had a major tantrum when I made him leave. Weights and tredmills must be really cool to two-year-olds.

After the fire station tour we went to celebrate the birthday girl with cake and some snacks. At the party Andrew showed off quite a bit and demonstrated that he could lift half his body weight (he found a 15 lb weight in the party room and lifted it up). Must've felt like he needed to show off bc there were so many cute girls around.

He also had fun playing on the swing set with his little buddy.

We got sent home with the cutest fire truck cookie favors. Little man ate it before we made it out of the driveway!

(not our picture- he ate it too fast- but they looked just like this)

I love theme birthday parties. This is my new favorite party website. I already can't wait to plan another party soon!
