Birthday in SF!

We have been singing "Happy Birthday" all weekend! Little dude sings "Happy Birthday" to basically every inanimate object in our house... and occasionally throws in "Happy Birthday Andrew" or "Happy Birthday Daddy."

To celebrate Kev's birthday, we headed over to SF on Saturday for lunch at Osha Thai.

They put us right by the window so we could make as much noise and mess as we wanted and still see the gorgeous weather outside- it was probably the clearest day I've experienced in SF. The view coming across the Bay Bridge was amazing.

Just looking at the delicious food makes me start salivating...

Samosas and spring rolls

Yellow curry

Lemongrass chicken

This super 2-year-old colored and actually ate food (and made a huge mess)... but let us enjoy our entire lunch.

After lunch we took Kev on a shopping spree and got him a bunch of new shirts. Andrew and I kept ourselves entertained by playing with mirrors

and pretending to try on shirts

Since everything looks good on Kevin, the only dilemma we have when we are shopping is narrowing it down to what he really needs... so we have to have a budget and stick to it. I wish I had his problem. :)

My handsome guys (Andrew really needs a hair cut!! Can you tell?)

We went up and down the escalator probably 40 times on our trip. It was one way to entertain the little man while Kev waited in lines to buy things.

After we'd worked off our lunch walking around and shopping, we headed to Ghirardelli for sundaes. The line was short. My chocolatier (waitress) struggled to get my order right (it was her first day).

We waited for a table for forever... then we waited for our ice cream for another 30 minutes. Little dude could only color on napkins and eat treats for so long...

Then the sundaes arrived, in milkshake form. :( They were still delicious, but would've been better before they melted and sat out on a counter for 20 minutes.

Little dude was happy to eat the birthday boy's sundae, since they both share a love of mint chip ice cream. He birthday present to his dad was covering himself, the table, and Kev with chocolate fudge. He also stole the last real scoop of mint ice cream in the "milkshake."

After sundaes, we enjoyed a quick walk along the water and then hurried home before it was time to switch our clocks forward.

Happy Birthday weekend Kev! More birthday celebration pictures coming shortly.
