San Francisco Wedding!

Yesterday one of Kevin's co-workers got married in San Francisco... so last night we got to head into the city to party the night away and celebrate with them.

A big group of Googlers came out to join the happy couple's celebration and we enjoyed eating a delicious dinner, dancing to the loud Latin band, chatting with Kevin's friends, and dining on some yummy desserts.

These were the cute treats in lieu of a Groom's cake.

According to the bride, the chocolate cake was not to be missed and was "to die for"... and she was pretty right on. I am a cake snob at weddings and usually won't eat a piece if it isn't good.

This layered chocolate piece of deliciousness was divine. I would've had a second piece if dinner hadn't been so filling!

The German wedding game was also fun to watch... as was the spinning flower girl that almost knocked over the cake.

Meanwhile, back at the Buskirk casa, Andrew enjoyed a long evening with his babysitter where he favored her with many renditions of "Please, please, me" and exerted his new bossy streak (Hmm... wonder where that comes from?? ;)) and demanded that she dance across the room in the corner while he played the guitar for her... then when he was done, he demanded that he get a high 5... and then he'd start all over again and send her back to the corner to dance. She and I had a good laugh the entire drive home.
