Halloween Trek to Lemos Farm

We did our annual trek to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay yesterday and absolutely loved it. Other than Kevin not getting to come with us... it was head over heels much better than last year because there weren't hundreds of people there. Weekdays are definitely the best days to go! We got there around 1pm... right when most of the school groups were leaving... so we practically had the run of the farm. Aunt Jessie joined us and kept us happy and energized all day. We are going to be so sad when she actually has a job and can't join us on fun adventures any more!

We started off feeding the goats.

Andrew was fascinated with watching them go to the bathroom (of course! ick!) and then wanted to hug all of them!

We got the child day pass and basically went on every ride until we were exhausted or felt we'd gotten our money's worth!

The bounce house was a favorite... although little dude liked riding the scooters they had in that area even more... which was tricky to do on hay. So random that they have scooters and bikes at a farm!

We rode the spooky Halloween train two different times. Good thing Andrew is little and somewhat clueless... Jessie and I were pretty disturbed by a lot of the displays on the train ride of the Ghost town... but Andrew was mostly on spider web watch the entire time... or trying to see if his shirt would glow in the dark tunnels. It did!

Shari- just so you know... the spider web shirt has been washed basically every day this week... and Andrew has been trying to wear it every day and has a tantrum when it is "dirty" (aka He needs to wear a new outfit so I pretend it is dirty). Definitely a beloved gift!

We were so glad that Jessie got to join us for our trip to the farm. She makes everything extra fun.

Maybe a little creeped out by some of the displays in Ghost Town?

This was Andrew's favorite display at the Farm.

After waiting for an entire daycare group to ride the ponies... we finally got a turn. Definitely not worth the wait (according to Jessie and I), but Andrew really seemed to love it.

Hmm... maybe a little too big?

Little dude refused to eat much of anything all day... but he did inhale the entire thing of popcorn that I bought for him. Kinda a vegetable, right? ;)

We went on a hayride... and Andrew's favorite part of that was running up and down the ramp to get on it (and eating his popcorn).

How tall is Andrew this Fall? 3 Ft!
Though I couldn't get a picture of him actually standing normally :)

This was another one of my favorite pictures of the day.
Jess got a good workout trying to lift Andrew up.

We ended the day with a trip through the Haunted House (creepy!!) and one last train ride and then we headed off to explore downtown Half Moon Bay! See you next year Lemos Farm!!
