Napping Day

Today was literally a "day of rest" for Kevin and I. We spent the day taking turns napping. It was heavenly. The little cutie had her first rough night last night. Hope this doesn't indicate that our honeymoon period with her is over :)

Andrew spent the morning trying to tire Caitlin out. He is a drill sergeant.

Checking out her form... telling her to work harder ;)

Another restful activity we did was watch lots and lots of Christmas cartoons while we ate Fruit Loops and Cadbury chocolate balls (did I mention that I bought out the supply at Safeway?). Gotta love the old school Burl Ives narrated Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer... Caitlin sure did.

We all managed to get showered and cleaned (at least before the end of the day)... this little one is quite the poser in the water.

Andrew loved his bath time helper role and took it very seriously- here he is screaming, "I'm the helper." He made sure Caitlin had ample shampoo... Kevin thought it was enough soap for all of us to have used it to clean our hair.

He also came up with his own very original "helper dance."

We ended the evening (and started off the day) watching the World Championships of Bowling on TV... and later on YouTube. We have a little boy with very interesting changing obsessions... bowling is one of them.

It was nice to have a low-key and restful day.

We are excited that Grandma Julie & Grandpa Kim are coming into town tomorrow!!

Congrats! She is so beautiful and I love that Andrew is such a great little helper.
