It has been raining a bunch lately but we really needed to get out of the house today, so we bundled everyone up and headed to Home Depot to find Andrew his very own mini Christmas tree. We've been telling him we were going to go for three days... and we finally made it!
The wimps ;) hung out inside the store while Andrew and I ignored the pouring rain and ran around the tree lot looking for a tree.
Andrew was proud of his choice! :)
Caitlin basked in the warmth of the store and helped her dad find some lights to hang outside our house. Andrew enjoyed telling her all about our adventure in the rain when we got back.
She seemed to enjoy her first ride in the snap n go. Both Kevin and I totally forgot how to open and close it... so this was a good test outing.
When we got home, Andrew played with the ladybug he found on his tree... while Kevin got the stand ready and chopped off the end of the tree.

Little dude was enthralled by the saw and cutting.
Can't wait till the tree is dry tomorrow and we can set it up in the house and start decorating!! We are going to attempt to do all homemade ornaments... so little dude and I will be having some mega craft time together!
