Jessie moves to the Bay!!

After a nice long car ride from Utah on Friday (with mom)... Jessie arrived in California!!

I flew in late Saturday night from Vegas and got picked up by Jessie & my mom for a continued Girls Weekend in Palo Alto.

First stop- checking out Jessie's new house (you can see more pictures in the daytime further down).

We absolutely LOVE this couch that belongs to one of her roommates.

Next stop- Pinkberry at the Stanford Shopping Center!
It was my first time and it was delish.

Then we headed off for a night of really good sleep on comfy beds at the PA Sheraton.

Sunday morning we woke up and walked the Stanford Dish-- my favorite PA activity that we just had to share with Jessie!... and then we headed back to the East Bay to see the little dude and Kevin and go to church.

Sunday afternoon was filled with relaxing, brownie making, and playing with Andrew.
Sunday night looked a little like this :)

We're a Mac family

This morning Jessie, my mom, and I all went jogging together. I pushed little man in the jogger and loved having people to take over for me when I was tired of pushing 60 lbs up and down the hills.

We stopped to play at the park (and of course, check out the snails).

Then we headed down to Palo Alto for lunch at Plutos! (Jessie's first trip... of many, I am sure)

We spent the rest of the afternoon giving Jessie moral support while she put furniture together and waited for her new bed to arrive at her house.

Isn't her house so cute? She shares it with a few other roommates.

Goofing around in Jessie's empty room

IKEA- love/hate relationship with that store... wish the instructions could be a little bit more straightforward sometimes... good thing Jessie has a college degree... and power tools :)

Little dude chilled for a minute or two

The best part of the afternoon was when the new bed arrived. Trucks, men carrying things, and then a new bed to bounce on... little man was in heaven!

We also took a trip to "Jessie's park" that is across the street from her house. Andrew already wants to go back.

Eventually the time came to take mom to the airport and we had to say goodbye to Jessie. Fortunately we'll see her again tomorrow!

The road trippers right before they said goodbye :(

Andrew worked hard to cheer Grandma up on the way to the airport. He made us turn on "Standing There" by the Beatles right away... because "it would make Grandma happy."

We are so excited for more fun with Jessie now that she lives close by!... and can't wait to see Grandma Julie again in a few weeks!

Sounds like you had fun with your mom and sister!

And, I love Andrew's new backpack!

How lucky for both of you to be close by -- life with sisters in the vicinity can not be topped!

And congrats on your first pinkberry. Pinkberry is maybe the best stuff on earth!
