We put the lawn puzzle pieces back together and stamped the sod back into place... yesterday morning we discovered it again. It is so weird that it only happens once a week.
We finally figured out what was happening today. RACCOONS! They come and dig up our lawn and eat the grubs underneath. So gross!
We will be spending some quality time figuring out how to treat the lawn this weekend to get rid of the grubs and discourage our little nasty friends from visiting us again next week!

Put a pilgrim hat on the raccoon--now that would be funny.
Talk to the Mansours--they had the same exact problem. I think they poisoned them.
Be glad the raccoons aren't living in your attic. There was a scene in a movie I just watched (The Soloist) with raccoons digging up the grass. The solution in the movie was coyote urine or something weird like that. Good luck!
