This afternoon we did some tummy time. Andrew kept cheering for Cate and when she stayed up for several minutes he yelled, "That's amazing!" and got down in front of her and kept cheering. His enthusiasm kept her up and looking around for awhile. She's getting to be such a strong girl!
Andrew really wanted to be in the picture with her, so he weaseled himself a spot in front of the camera.
I think Caitlin grew a few inches over the last week... and probably some pounds too (must be all those sweets I ate ;)). The typical response when I tell people that she is only 2-1/2 months old is laughter :) Sweet. Then they say, "she's a really big girl, isn't she?"
Yessiree, she is! Hopefully she's helping me build stronger biceps.
She is the sweetest, happiest, mellow, cuddle bug!
Her newest talents include...
- making bubbles with her mouth (which makes her so slobbery!)
- blowing through an outfit a day (extra messy when it is something new and super cute)
- hitting her toys on her playtime mat and talking to them
- talking really loud
- stealthfully spitting up all over the back of my shirt without me knowing
- making high pitch screams (especially when we take her out of the bath)
- kicking and splashing in the bathtub and trying to push herself backwards
- starting to bust out of her miracle blanket (almost too long for it)
- eating less often and for shorter periods of time (yay for me!)
- breaking out of her swaddle blankets (unless we're using the miracle blanket)
- going to bed a little earlier
If we haven't said it enough, we love this little girl to pieces!! :)
